Foster Parents are the MOST important aspect of what we do. Without foster homes, the dogs we care for cannot be saved! Foster parents are our lifeblood and they make rescue possible. Here is what a few of them have to say about MAMCO:
“I have been fostering with MAMCO for over a year and they really love their pups! I have had a great, supportive experience and am so thankful to be part of this organization.” -McKenna L.
“I have worked with and for MAMCO, AND adopted my best friend from this rescue. You will never meet a more caring and dedicated rescue. I work at a pet supply store and if anyone is ever looking for a new fur baby you bet I send them MAMCO’s way. Absolutely love them!” -Bridget H.
“We have adopted 2 dogs from MAMCO and both times have been amazing! Aron and her team run everything smoothly and are amazing with every animal they save on a daily basis! We loved them so much we started fostering with them about 6 months ago and are loving every minute of it!” – Katie M.
“We’ve fostered for them since Day 1 and support them 100% so they keep saving and adopting out as many beautiful healthy moms and puppies as possible. Outstanding organization! People have no idea how hard it is to survive in the rescue world! We admire them and wish we could help them more often!” – Claire T.
“A couple of years ago, I lost my best friend Roxanna Lea. She was the sweetest little girl…pure white with black lips and black eyeliner. I honestly thought I would never get over her. Then I stumbled across Mamco Rescue and my experience with them saved my life. My first foster was a mama dog and 6 puppies that were rescues from the hurricane in Houston. My daughter and her family were living with me and I have a grandaughter who was 8 at the time. It was the most amazing and rewarding experience for myself but especially my granddaughter. The pups were about 3-4 weeks old and it was so cool to share the taking care of them with her. It was painful letting them go but MAMACO goes through a very thorough process before adopting the pups to forever homes. In fact, I interviewed all of the potential adopters myself and had all but 2 picked out. I ended up keeping the Mama and one of the pups. Mama Lillipie and Sophie Marie. MAMCO not only saved that little family but they saved me too. The second litter we fostered were newborns and their eyes weren’t even open yet. They were the tiniest little things and again, we fell in love. The folks at MAMCO are dedicated, loving, caring individuals that take very seriously what they do and how their rescues are taken care of. I had every intention of fostering another family but have a new baby granddaughter so she takes up most of my time now. Once she gets some age on her, I have every intention of getting with MAMCO and start fostering again. It’s a wonderful experience and a beautiful way to teach our children about love for God’s Creatures and how important it is for us to be compassionate and responsible about spaying and neutering our pets. I owe MAMCO more than I can ever repay. Give fostering a chance…it will change your life.” – Ronni T.
“Just Finished fostering and Helping 6 puppies and a momma, the entire time was a great experience and will of course do it all over again shortly. There is nothing I would say bad about MAMCO as they are fantastic for all they do and did to the small and big parts of guiding us and supporting this journey, thank you for this experience, I recommend everyone to adopt, nuture, and foster a dog. And to help MAMCO as much as they helped us.” – Logan B.
“My experience has been positive as I have also told lots of people about Moms and Mutts. I am fostering a little dog with them, when I was concerned after her surgery to be spayed they sent someone to ck her out that eve. I think it’s wonderful for them to take these mommas in and find homes for their pups when ready and then work on finding mom’s homes. Plus they are spayed and worked with. No complaints here.” – Doris P.
“I am grateful for this organization. They are all well organized and great ppl to work with. I have been honored to foster for them for the last few weeks. It has been great for our family. I recommend them to everyone. And talk about how awesome they are to all the time. Feel lucky I have met this wonderful project and look forward to it for many years to come.” – Cassandra
“As a foster for moms and mutts I can tell you that Aron the rescues founder puts everything she’s got into this rescue. Sleepless nights more times then not, no food because she didn’t have the time and countless other things that average people would not go through because she loves every single dog that comes through. This rescue loves questions so if you have any contact anyone in this rescue and they will jump at the opportunity to help! It doesn’t matter if the dog was just adopted, your thinking about adopting, or it’s been a year and you were curious about something. This rescue does their best to match dogs to forever families. As a foster who have had dogs come in with lots of medical problems I can tell you that this rescue doesn’t care what it takes they will get that dog medical attention and that’s pretty amazing. Especially when it would be so much easier to just give up on a dog.” – Kaileigh
“Current foster here! Moms and Mutts has a team that is committed to the welfare of all the mama dogs and puppies they rescue. They provide a network of support for their fosters and adopters, which makes working with their rescue a breeze. They are thorough in their applications which lets you know that they truly care about the animals. As a foster, they have been available 24/7 with knowledge, supplies, and anything else I have needed. They are an ethical rescue that truly wants to ensure that the animals they rescue are well cared for.” – BL
“This organization has been wonderful to work with. They do so much to help mom dogs and their puppies. They take dogs that other rescues wouldn’t and work so hard to find them good homes.” – Nanette
“MAMCO never stops saving pregnant moms, moms and their young puppies, puppies that lost their mom’s and other dogs that are in immediate danger of being murdered in the pound they are residing. Volunteers work tirelessly fostering these rescue dogs. Vaccinations and medicines that the pups are in need of ie.dewormer. Many litters arrive with life threatening illnesses. Distemper and Parvo are probably the most common but many litters arrive with viral infections. MAMCO volunteers spend many hours each caring for these pups and transporting to the veterinarians clinics for treatment.” – Melissa K.
